Kareet ("we", "us") operates the Kareet platform and marketing site. This policy explains what we collect, where it lives, and your rights under GDPR, UK GDPR, and CCPA/CPRA where applicable.
What we collect
- Application form: name, email, phone, company, industry.
- Account data: email, hashed password, workspace settings.
- Usage: product analytics when you consent (see Cookie Policy).
- Client site attribution: UTM/referrer on published pages (consent-gated for external tracking).
Where data lives
Application and account data are stored in our application database (SQLite in development; PostgreSQL in production). Email is sent via our self-hosted Listmonk instance. WhatsApp messages are queued through our communications service with Redis. We do not sell personal data.
Legal bases (GDPR)
- Contract — providing the Kareet service you applied for.
- Legitimate interest — fraud prevention, security, and product improvement.
- Consent — non-essential cookies and marketing analytics.
Your rights
You may request access, correction, deletion, or portability of your data, and object to certain processing. Contact info@kareet.com. California residents may exercise CCPA rights including know, delete, and opt-out of sale (we do not sell data).

Retention
Applications pending review are kept until resolved. Onboarded account data is retained while your workspace is active and up to 90 days after closure unless law requires longer retention.
